For the month of May and June, South Putnam street will be under construction as the City replaces water mains and does an extensive street scape renovation. It will look beautiful when it's done, but in the mean time it's a bit of a hassle for our patrons. There is no street parking on South Putnam between Grand River Avenue and Middle Street. We encourage our patrons to park in the Citizens Bank parking lot at the corner of Middle and South Putnam, one half block south of the Theatre. Patrons with mobility issues should plan to be dropped off in front of the Theatre as the sidewalks will be difficult to navigate. The Williamston Theatre is located at 122 S. Putnam Street, just three doors south of the Four Corners intersection of Putnam Street and Grand River Avenue, in the heart of historic downtown Williamston. We are on the west side of the street, just across from the Williamston True Value Hardware Store and the Sparrow Pharmacy. From I-96, take exit 117 and head north on Williamston Road. Williamston Road changes to Putnam as you get into town. We are located 1.75 miles north of the interstate on the west side of the street, between Middle Street and Grand River Avenue. Parking is plentiful on the street and in several municipal lots located throughout the city of Williamston. Our patrons are also welcome to park in the parking lot of Citizens Bank, located one-half block south of us at the corner of Middle and South Putnam Streets. Handicapped parking is available on the block in front of the Theatre. The Williamston Theatre is handicapped accessible.
