James Kuhl

James is thrilled to be making his Williamston Theatre stage debut with Bright Half Life. He received his BA from Alma College and his MFA from Wayne State University, where he now teaches. James served as Tipping Point Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director for many years, but now works at The Fisher Theatre in Detroit as the Deputy General Manager. Acting Credits include Every Brilliant Thing, The Rainmaker, True West, and The Importance of Being Earnest. James is a member of The Detroit Public Theatre’s Advisory Board, a proud father of 3 and loving partner of over 20 years to his wonderful wife Hallie. He is committed to a lifelong career of supporting and advocating for the wellbeing of artists and the art of theatre.
